Links + Love (September 2017)...

This video showed up in my Facebook feed on Wednesday and, no word of a lie, I watched it 10 times in a row. I definitely may have had tears of my own. I mean, how sweet is she?! I just wanted to give her a hug. Tiny humans are the best.

I found out yesterday that the Pioneer Woman is releasing a new bedding line next week and even though I just bought new bedding earlier this year I might just have to get some for a spare bedroom... Just look at the rose garden set - all the heart eyes!

Another post that had me wiping away tears. I love Dan and Norah's friendship!

I picked up these slip on runners at DSW in the MOA and they were perfect for walking around downtime Minneapolis and up and down the stairs at Target Field. I wish I would have bought another pair!

It's perfectly acceptable to drink a ton of wine over the next few weeks just so I can make this, right?

I'm also very tempted to try this tutorial. I need some succulents in my life!

I've been moving things around in my bedroom, trying to finally settle on a set up that I LOVE, and I found this cozy corner area on Pinterest and I think I might try to incorporate into a corner of my room that is currently very bare. Also, if someone has a recommendation for where to find large fake plants that won't cost me my first born child please send them my way!

I need one more new recipe to try this month and I'm thinking this might be the winner for supper tomorrow night.

Have a great weekend y'all! My plans for the weekend include binge watching This is Us Season 1 on Netflix, catching up on laundry, finishing a book I started last week and haven't opened once this week, taking some photos for a friend, and cleaning my SUV. A little bit of lazy mixed with getting things done - the perfect combo!

Photo Dump Thursday (September 2017)...

I've been wracking my brain all night trying to think of something to post tomorrow (Thursday) to make sure I meet my goal of 8 posts for this month. I already know what Friday's post will be, I just could not think of something to post today, BUT then I finally had a light bulb moment and remembered the piece of paper I have tucked in my desk with a bunch of post ideas for when I'm in a rut (so all the time...) and one of the first things I read was a Last Ten Photo Dump. I haven't done well lately with including many pictures with my posts so I was sold on the idea as soon as I read it. So here you go, the last ten* photos taken on my phone.

ONE
This was just taken about twenty minutes ago. Within three seconds of putting her on the bed she was curled up on the blanket and fast asleep. Be still my heart
TWO
The selfie I posted a little bit ago on Instagram to document finally get my hair cut. Which I almost didn't post because I get so much anxiety posting selfies. The things that give me anxiety are the silliest things everrrrrr.
THREE
I'm trying out a new work schedule that will keep me from working as much overtime as I have been lately and yesterday morning I didn't have to be in my office until 8:45 instead of my usual 7:15 (I'm hoping to do this one day a week) so I took these two for a walk before I had to leave for work. To be honest, I tried to slip out of the house with just Krickit but I swear Kirby can sense when I'm even thinking about taking Krickit for a walk so I ended up with both of them. And in the picture Krickit had somehow managed to extract herself from her harness so right after this was taken I had to fix it or it would have slipped right off her back.
FOUR
A new Winners/HomeSense opened in Harbour Landing, the area of the Queen City that I'm actually comfortable driving in, and I've been wanting to hit it up for forever and finally got the chance on Tuesday when I had to head there for an orthodontist appointment. I've been on the hunt for a Rae Dunn spoon rest and I finally found one and was SO excited. I contemplated getting both of them but in the end just ended up with the 'Rest' one. I am Rae Dunn obsessed right now (late to the party, I know).
FIVE
I had a New York Fries poutine for lunch at the Food Court in the mall before my appointment while in the Queen City. It's not very often that I get this so I treated myself to the delicious-ness.
SIX
Krickit came outside with me while I was taking some photos for the blog last weekend and when I went to take a picture of her she tilted her head as if to say 'Another picture Mom (insert eye roll)'. Isn't she the cutest?! (And don't worry, her badger claws got clipped on Monday)
SEVEN
I had to stop and take a picture of the fog over the valley behind my parents house before I left for work the other morning. It looked too pretty not to photograph! This isn't the best picture that I got but when I went to upload them this is the one I accidentally chose and it's late and I want to get to bed soon so I'm just leaving this one.
EIGHT
I took this last weekend to use with my Fall Bucket List post. I think we can all agree that Fall really is the prettiest season to photograph. I actually took a bunch of photos on my DSLR but ended up using the sub-par ones I took with my iPhone because I knew that if I dumped my memory card onto my laptop I'd be stuck editing photos for hours and just didn't feel up to it.
  NINE

One of my September Goals was to try 5 new recipes this month and last Saturday night I tried the Chicken Noodle Casserole from here. I did add a little bit of shredded cheese to the top for the last 5 minutes that it was baking but otherwise I stuck with the original recipe. Definitely one I will make again!
 TEN
MN was kind enough to play chaffeur to my family while we were in the Twin Cities for the Jays vs Twins games. My Mama wanted to check out the outlets in Eagan so on the Saturday morning we headed there and I picked up this oversized wallet to match my purse. The picture was taken right before I threw out the bag, just in case I decided to use it on the blog at some point ie: a What I'm Loving Lately kind of post. Or, in this case, a photo dump!

*Okay, not technically the last 10 taken but the last ten that weren't all of the same thing. I literally have 6 photos of Krickit sleeping that all look the same and I didn't want to bore y'all with that so I went through and took the last 10 that weren't duplicates.

I think I need to make this kind of post a weekly or monthly thing from now on! It's funny to see how completely random all the photos are and I like that they give a little glimpse into things in my life that might not get posted here. What do y'all think?!

What's Up Wednesday (September 2017)...

Happy Humpday y'all! I was off work yesterday for an appointment in the Queen City so today is a Wednesday that feels like a Monday and it has me all sorts of messed up. But, thankfully, it is actually Wednesday AND it's the last Wednesday of the month which means it's time for the What's Up Wednesday link up with Mel, Shay, and Sheaffer. I've had good intentions to link up with them numerous times and never followed through but today is finally the day I do! Here we go:

What I'm eating this week
This week has started off rough with eating proper meals. I haven't cooked once yet this week. In my defense I worked on Sunday and didn't get home until 7:15, worked a 10 hour shift on Monday and didn't get home until just after 6:00, and didn't get home from an appointment in the Queen City until after 8:00 last night. Sunday night I had leftovers from the supper I made on Saturday (Chicken Noodle Casserole from here), Monday I had Eggo waffles because I couldn't muster up the energy to do anything put press the toaster down after a 10 hour work day while sick, and yesterday I ate lunch at the food court in the mall before my appointment and then ate Skinny Pop popcorn on the drive home (#adulting). I also work until 6:00 tonight so I imagine tonight is going to be another thrown together meal. BUT I have plans to make this Creamy Chicken Fajita Soup this week as well as these Loaded Baked Potato Bites.

What I'm reminiscing about
My nieces being babies. Almost every day I have a Facebook memory pop up about something funny that they said or an adorable picture of them but just this month they turned 7 and 11 and I'm realizing that they're not my little babies anymore and I just want to cry into a bottle of wine about it!

What I'm loving
All the Fall colours. It might not be my favourite season but it's definitely beautiful!
I took this photo (on my crappy iPhone, mind you) of the fog over the valley behind my parents house the other morning. This season is just so fun to photograph!
What I've been up to
Work, work, and more work. I'm testing out a couple of different schedules for myself to see what best fits my life at this time (and what doesn't add up to a bunch of overtime each week!) and I'm hoping that by the end of October I get myself on a regular schedule (and no.more.overtime). Also, my seasonal allergies have been kicking my butt and gave me a sinus infection so when I haven't been working I've been in bed. I'm trying out a new nasal spray and allergy medication so hopefully things are all smooth sailing from now on!

What I'm dreading
Having to get a pap test done (TMI, I know). I'm overdue for a pap test (just by a few months) and have been putting it off but just yesterday I found out that my doctor is leaving in January so I need to call to book it asap before she leaves and there aren't any women doctors left in the area.

What I'm working on
Project life albums from 2012-now. I am so behind and its very overwhelming but I just need to keep on trucking with it so I can finally be caught up (and stay caught up!)

What I'm excited about
All the upcoming holidays. Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away, we're just over a month until Halloween, AND ITS LESS THAN THREE MONTHS UNTIL CHRISTMAS NOW! Can you tell I'm just a tiny bit excited?! (haha)

What I'm watching/reading
I'm preparing myself to start watching the first season of This is Us this weekend now that it's on Canadian Netflix (I PVR'd last nights premiere for when I'm finally caught up). Otherwise I don't get to invested in tv shows because I just don't make the time to stay up to date with them.

I just finished my annual Harry Potter series re-read and am now currently making my way through The Identicals by Elin Hilderbrand. Then I'm all out of new reads so send me your recommendations! So far I'm at 27 books for the year and I'd really like to get to at least 45 before the year ends.

What I'm listening to
I'm still loving all the songs from this months Currently post but I've also added Legends by Kelsea Ballerini into the mix.
What I'm wearing
This coat from the A New Day line for Target any chance that I get. It's not quite cold enough for it yet but I've had it since July so I held off long enough and as soon as it was officially Fall the coat went on. I LOVE it and wish I would have also gotten it in the gray colour as well. Hopefully next time I make it to Target they will still have it - fingers crossed!

What I'm doing this weekend
Taking some photos for a friend and her boyfriend for their Christmas card and hopefully some photos of my sister and her girls. I'm not a professional (obviously) but I want to work on my skills so I volunteered my services to do some photos so I can get some practice in. Hopefully the weather co-operates!
What I'm looking forward to next month
Halloween!

What else is new
Life is still just flying by and I once again can't believe another month is almost gone. This month my Twin (aka my cousin) moved home after a little over a year out in BC so I'm happy that she's home and I'll get to see her more often. I have plans to meet up with a bunch of different friend groups in October to catch up so that something to look forward to. And I'm not sure yet when I'll be seeing MN next so him and I need to figure that out asap!

Fall Bucket List (2017)...

The first weekend of Fall was completely uneventful in my world. I've been dealing with a sinus infection for about a week now so I was in bed by 8:00 on Friday night (#thisis30), and stayed in bed most of Saturday morning. I wish I would've been able to sleep all that time, I'm still trying to recover on sleep lost during my trip to the Twin Cities the weekend prior, but instead I just tossed and turned most of the time and gave myself a headache from squeezing my eyes shut trying to force myself to sleep. That afternoon I decided to try something other than  my trusty Advil Cold & Sinus and it did the trick because I got a burst of energy around 3:00 that had me cleaning and organizing my bedroom and the spare bedrooms downstairs, and it even lasted long enough for me to make supper. I made this Chicken Noodle Casserole - it's been on my Mmm Mmm Good Pinterest board for forever but with feeling under the weather I was craving comfort food so I finally got around to trying it. My go-to comfort food meal is usually homemade creamy chicken noodle soup but I had just made that before leaving for the Twin Cities with leftovers from celebrating my birthday with Christmas-in-July-in September. I've now tried three new recipes in September, just two to go before Friday!

On Friday morning, before I started feeling even worse than I had been, I agreed to work a 6 hour shift on Sunday at my old part time job to help out while one of the owners was sick so that took up most of yesterday (the drive to and from 'the city' adds an extra hour and a half on to the day). The store was soooo busy, I barely got to sit down all day, so by the time I got home at 7:00 last night I was just exhausted - it took everything in me to keep my eyes open on the drive home. I was in bed by 8:00 again last night - being on my feet all day while sick completely played me out. Thankfully I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning on my way to the Queen City for my 6 month orthodontist check up so I should be on my way to feeling normal soon!

But enough about me being sick and miserable, that's not what this post is about! I managed to find a bit of time over the weekend to finish up my Fall Bucket List so here it is in all it's glory.

Fall in the GWN really only last about 6 weeks (we'll be lucky if there isn't snow on the ground by Halloween) and as soon as November 12th hits I'm in full on Christmas mode so that doesn't leave me much time to get things crossed off of my list. Knowing that, I scaled my list down compared to usual so that I wouldn't be in over my head while in a time crunch and I'm hoping that will help me be able to accomplish every single thing on my list. Wish me luck!

What's on your Fall Bucket List?

Five on Friday (September 2017)...

Happy Friday! I'm having a very hard time coming to terms with Summer being over and Fall officially beginning and the only thing getting me through is the idea of being able to start decorating for Halloween and that it's now finally acceptable to bring out my boots and scarves. Goodbye Summer 2017, I'll miss you!

I haven't done a Five on Friday post in a hot minute but I have some spare time before I have to leave for work so here we go!

ONE
Summer is now officially over and I'm more than a little upset about it. I feel like I barely got to enjoy Summer and I definitely didn't come close to crossing everything off of my Summer Bucket List (whomp whomp). The only thing that will get me through the next few months is counting down to Halloween and Christmas, my two favourite holidays.

TWO
I didn't really get to do much shopping while in the Twin Cities last weekend for the Jays games - we went to a game each day so there just weren't enough hours in the day - so my plan to start Christmas shopping while I was there was dashed. But since I made it one of my goals for September to get started on my Christmas shopping I'm going to start online this weekend and then hopefully find some things when I head to the Queen City on Tuesday for my orthodontist appointment. A new HomeSense and Marshalls just opened up in the area of the city I'll be in and I can't wait to check it out!

THREE
This Is Us was released on Canadian Netflix on Wednesday and I cannot wait to start bingewatching it! I've only seen the first two episodes because I couldn't keep up with it in real time so I'm hoping I can watch Season 1 and then will be able to keep up with it this year. Also, Beauty and the Beast was released on Tuesday and even though I've already seen it I was so excited to see that it would be on Netflix PLUS Season 13 of Grey's Anatomy will be on there by the end of the month so for once I won't be spending what feels like hours trying to decide what to watch!

FOUR
Today is payday - halle-freakin-lujah. Payday Fridays are my favourite Fridays. I've been so good with my budget lately but with Fall approaching (and now here) I've been so tempted to go crazy with the spending. I tried a few things on at Lululemon at the MOA that I LOVED and planned on ordering over the next few months but now that I tried them on I just want them NOW. I also told myself last year when I finally threw away my beaten up 8 year old UGGS that I would buy myself a new pair for Christmas 2017 and I also just want them now. I did buy myself the Michael Kors jet set wallet (that matches my tote) while at the outlet in Eagan over the weekend so I have to keep reminding myself of that and that I need to slowly buy things to stay on budget and that I don't need everything all at once. It's just that once I have an idea in my head it's hard to reign myself in. If someone could send me some willpower that would be great.

FIVE
I'm almost done my Fall Bucket List (hoping to have it posted on Monday) and even though Fall isn't my favourite season I am excited to get working on crossing off things on my list so at least I have that to help me get over my sadness that Summer is 252 days away. Not that I'm counting...

Have a great weekend!

Bird Watching 2017...

It's almost time for bird watching y'all! Yes, the Blue Jays are officially out of the playoff race (I still love them anyways...) BUT I'm still excited because it's been over a year since I've seen them play live and even though I still love watching them on TV it just doesn't compare to the real thing.

After buying the tickets to the games back in February it seemed like it would be forever before I'd be in the Twin Cities for the series but it actually seems like I was just paying for the tickets yesterday and now here we are, heading on the road to the Twin Cities this afternoon to take in 4 games (and be there for my nieces, nephew, and Mama Bears first MLB game!).

My Mama and Aunt Linda and Uncle Gary are taking the train to St.Paul tonight so they will actually beat me and my brother and SIL to the cities. We're driving, leaving around 1:30 this afternoon, but are only going as far as Fargo or Fergus Falls tonight (depends how tired we are/fussy Quade is) and then will finish the rest of the drive tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed Quade does good on the drive!

My Mama is getting MN to pick her and my Aunt and Uncle up at the train station in the morning and they are all going for breakfast at the Uptowner since they can't check into their hotel until mid afternoon and they should be in the cities by 8:00 (as long as the train is on time). To say that I'm jealous would be an understatement! I'm also slightly nervous about what my Mama or Aunt and Uncle might say while I'm not there. Eeeek!

My sister and her girls aren't leaving until late tomorrow night so they won't get to the cities until Friday afternoon. We really don't have many concrete plans, aside from the Jays games, so we need to figure out our plans asap! I know there will be some time spent at the MOA and I mentioned the outlets in Eagan to my Mama so she wants to check those out. MN wants to take my brother to a couple of local breweries and I'm sure there will be a trip to Target fit in there somewhere as well. My brother and SIL plan on getting a start on some Christmas shopping and my nieces will have birthday money to spend so there will definitely be a bit of shopping happening. I don't normally go shopping while I'm in the cities because I know MN would rather do anything else than follow me around as I shop so I need to get it in while everyone else is too!

I've been wanting the Align II pants from Lululemon for forever and I almost ordered them online awhile back but the reviews were really back and forth on the fit so I want to try a pair on while I'm at the MOA and go from there. If I do like them I'll probably still wait and purchase them online when I'm home to say myself money with the exchange rate (though it's definitely getting better!).

Now that I've rambled about pretty much nothing (it's early and I'm delirious and not yet caffeinated so please forgive me haha) it's time to get my butt in gear and finish packing so I can actually leave on time this afternoon. I've been wide awake since 3:00 am but forced myself to lay in bed and try to get a little more sleep (it didn't work...) so now it's 4:00 am and I'm quickly getting this out of the way so I can get on with packing and showering to get ready for my half day of work. I'll be back next week (with a recap I'm sure) and I've got some posts in the works to make sure I hit my goal of 8 published posts this month so hopefully I'll get a few of those up too.

Happy Humpday!

September 11, 2017

Currently (September 2017)...

Reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I only have until the 21st to finish off my summer re-read - eeek! Hopefully I'll get lots of reading time in on the way to the Twin Cities and on the way home. I also have The Identicals by Elin Hilderbrand in my reading pile and I can't wait to start it but I'm not letting myself until I finish Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and can cross my HP summer re-read off my Summer Bucket List

Listening to some new favourites that have been added to my Spotify playlist. T-Swift's two new songs (I really didn't like Look What You Made Me Do at first but after the music video came out I watched it over and over again and the song grew on me. T-Swift can do no wrong in my books), Don't You Know by Porter Union, A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega by Ashley McBryde, and If My Name Was Whiskey by Carly Pearce.

Celebrating my nieces birthdays over the next week and a half. Rae turns 11 on the 15th (eleven!) and Graycie turns 7 on the 21st. What happened to my babies?! We will be in the Twin Cities on Rae's birthday and my sister is hoping to get everyone together for lunch at Benihana's to celebrate because we will be at the Twins vs Jays game that night.

Watching all the HGTV I can get. There was a House Hunters Renovation marathon on Saturday and I could have watched all day long (if I hadn't made plans with a friend). I seriously could watch fixer upper shows all.day.long and never get bored of them. I'll be on my way to the Twin Cities when Helene's episode of House Hunters International airs but I'm going to make sure to PVR it!

Pretty much the only thing I watch lately other than shows on HGTV (and sometimes the Food Network) is baseball. There's not much left of the 2017 baseball season so I gotta watch every single game that I can!

Working on my Fall Bucket List. I haven't even completed everything off of my Summer Bucket List yet but I wanted to start working on my Fall Bucket List early so that as soon as September 22nd rolls around I have it ready to start crossing things off.

Drinking nothing at this exact moment but I do have a bottle of water on my nighstand beside me in case I get thirsty before I actually go to sleep. I drank a bottle of wine before/after supper tonight while playing the Home Alone drinking game to celebrate my birthday (more on that later this week...) so sticking to water now is probably a good idea.

Waiting on my car payment to finally come out of my account (I hate when the transaction date falls on a weekend) so I can see how much I have left owing on Eleanor (my SUV).  If my calculations are correct she is going to be paid off in November and I cannot wait. I fell in love with a Michael Kors crossbody bag and I told myself I can buy it once Eleanor is finally paid off so I'm anxiously awaiting that!

Wearing my favourite lululemon shorts and a Grayson Threads Christmas pajama top. Before I got into bed I was also wearing a tacky Christmas vest (again, more on this later this week).

Anticipating the trip to the Twin Cities on Wednesday. 9 of my family members are making the trip, plus my sisters boyfriend and my SIL's mom, step dad, and step brother. I can't wait for the games!

Loving that SE SK is still getting some sunshine! This weekend was HOT and I just wish I would've been able to spend some more time outside soaking up the sun. I let the dogs out around 10 on Saturday night and couldn't believe how warm it still was. Most nights lately it's super cold by that time (and in the mornings).

Making plans for what we are going to do in the Twin Cities when we're not at the games.

September Goals (2017)...

Happy September y'all! This is the first time I've made it to the blog so far in September and we're already a week in - whoops! I spent the first weekend of September on the road to Saskatoon to attend my cousin's wedding and I'm just now back to feeling 100% after it. Recovering from weddings isn't so easy any more (I'll blame it on turning 30...) and I'm kind of glad I don't have another one to attend for quite awhile. I've also solemnly sworn that I will never mix as much alcohol as I did last weekend AND no more Fireball will ever cross my lips. Blechhh!

September is always such a strange month (to me anyways). It's still technically Summer for over half of the month but almost everyone wants to start celebrating Fall already and it just creates a weird vibe for the month. I'm not the type to start celebrating Fall early though,  I embrace Summer until the last possible second. I'll still be wearing my flip flops, drinking iced coffees, and crossing things off of my Summer Bucket List up until September 22nd (any possibly even beyond then with the flip flops and iced coffee...).

Mornings around here  have been fairly chilly - enough that I turn on my seat warmer for my 1 minute drive to work and wish that I had grabbed a sweater before walking out the door- but by afternoon I'm cranking the air conditioning and sweating the second I step outside. I can't win! This weekend is supposed to be in the 30's which is awesome because I don't have any plans other than to embrace one of the last weekends of Summer and soak up as much sunshine as possible. Hopefully I'll be able to get some Summer Bucket List items crossed off and even some goals for September accomplished. So speaking of goals, let's check out my progress on my August Goals before moving on to my goals for September.
In August I wanted to...

Finish one Project Life album
Hard to do when you don't order the photos to go in the album... Face palm

Publish 10 blog posts
I really did have good intentions y'all but I only managed to publish 6 posts in August. Towards the end of the month I realized I would have to publish 4 posts from August 27th - 31st in order to meet my goal so I started working on a few posts to have scheduled for when I was in the Twin Cities. However, my internet connection has been so bad lately (like SO bad) that I couldn't get my internet to cooperate long enough to finish up those posts to have them scheduled before I had to leave for the train station. I tried for over an hour and just couldn't get my connection to last longer than 3 minutes at a time. So frustrating! So now I will try and finish them and publish them this month.

Try 5 new recipes
None. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Ughhhhh!

Make at least $150 from decluttering items around the house
I did it y'all! Aaaand I even exceeded my goal! I made $244 in August from decluttering and selling items on FB. I also made an extra $125 by picking up a couple of shifts at my old part time job so August was a good month for my budget!

Complete a new workout program
I started the program but didn't like it and so far haven't moved on to something that I do enjoy. As soon as I get home from my next Twin Cities trip (to go bird watching at Target Field) I'm getting back to basics with the 21 Day Fix and moving forward from there.

Take Krickit for a morning walk (at least) twice a week
Poor Krickit only got one short walk in all of August. I feel terrible! She did get to go down to the camper quite often to run around but I really want to get back into our routine of daily walks (or at least 3-4 times a week).

Take family photos for my sister and nieces
Let me just state for the record that this is not my fault. I repeat, NOT MY FAULT! I asked my sister a few times what night worked for her to do the pictures and she kept putting it off. So again, not my fault that I didn't get to cross this off!

Wear a different outfit to work each week day with NO repeats
I did it! There were a couple of repeats of either tops or bottoms BUT I didn't wear them together again so I'm still counting it as a win. I had been taking pictures at the beginning of the month but towards the end I forgot about it but I'm 99% sure I accomplished this even without the photographic proof.

In September I want to...
Create a Fall Bucket List
I've got two weeks to cross everything that's left off of my Summer Bucket List and then it's time to move on to my Fall Bucket List. I might get stabby that people start 'celebrating' Fall early (it's still Summer!) but I do love the season (just not as much as Summer) and am looking forward to all the things that Fall entails. Blanket scarves, fall scented candles, falling leaves, etc.

Start Christmas shopping
It's never to early! I don't like feeling rushed and since I live in the middle of nowhere I don't have the option to last minute shop. There will still definitely be a shopping trip at some point in December to cross off those last minute things but for the most part I want to have my shopping 85% complete by November. Now I just need everyone to give me some ideas! MN and I have been talking about doing a trip to Chicago in December instead of getting each other gifts so I really hope we follow through with this. I've wanted to go to Chicago for forever and MN had to skip a 'boys trip' with friends just this past weekend because he was in the GWN with me at my cousin's wedding so here's hoping we actually do it. Flights to Chicago from the Twin Cities are less than $100 - you can't beat that!

Get.Outside.With.Krickit
I got myself some new outdoor running shoes so there are no more excuses and I need to make it a priority again!

Order 2017 photos
I think my plan of attack is to work backwards through my albums. I want to get caught up to date as much as possible for 2017's album and then from then on make it a priority to get pictures printed every month so I can keep up to date, and then start working on 2016, 2015, etc. until I'm all caught up. I have a LOT of photos to print so hopefully I don't break my budget...

Work on my photograpy
Just in case my sister makes excuses again I am changing my goal to this so that I can just take pictures of anything and still accomplish my goal. Hopefully I can get some family photos done for my sister and nieces though. Fall is just so pretty that it does make a perfect time to get photos done so I guess it's not terrible that we didn't get around to doing them in August.

Try 5 new recipes
I love cooking during the Fall because it just screams comfort food (chili, soup, casseroles, etc) and those are some of my favourite dishes to make. I just can't force myself to make soup or chili during the Summer months but come Fall that's all I want to make. So hopefully I can actually finally accomplish trying some new recipes this month.

Practice yoga at least 10 times
I used to do daily yoga using the Yoga Studio app on my phone at at some point I got out of it and I realllllly want to get back to it. I have terrible posture so I'm hoping getting back into yoga will help with that and if I can manage to practice it at least 10 times this month then hopefully I can get myself back into the routine of doing it daily again soon!

Publish 8 blog posts
Since I'm getting a late start to the month I don't want to set myself up for failure so I'm aiming for 8 and hoping I can at least manage that. And if I do manage to get more then that's even better!

I don't know about y'all but this week has absolutely flown by for me. With it being a short week because of Labour Day it could have went either way but I'm very happy that Friday is here and that it got here quickly. Now to just survive my workday and then the weekend can begin!
